The Social Sciences Festival 'Sosyalfest', organized with a vision supporting Turkey's national social sciences initiative on March 2-3, hosted a wide audience of participants and visitors alongside facilitating academic and scientific interaction. Throughout the festival, over 400 booths presented events that brought together scientists, students, and industry professionals from various disciplines of social sciences, while attracting a broad audience interested in social sciences, including leading protocol members of our province.
The stand of our Faculty of Forestry was particularly notable for its rich material and informative content displayed. Cross-sections used in determining the age of trees, various tools and equipment used in forestry, stuffed animal specimens from forest wildlife, 3D terrain models, various types of forest trees, and many more materials drew intense interest from the visitors. Our brochures containing detailed information about our faculty were also met with great curiosity and interest throughout the festival.
