In celebration of International Day of Forests and Week, a tree planting event was organized on Thursday, March 28, 2024, within our university campus. The program, orchestrated by our faculty, was attended by Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık, Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Hasan Solmaz and Prof. Dr. İsmail Rakıp Karaş, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yörür, academics, administrative staff, and students. Aimed at increasing the green areas within the campus and leaving a more livable world for future generations, the event led to the planting of 150 saplings.
